**Q: Will the 30L backpacck count as a free personal item on spirit airlines?**
A: I’ve taken the Peak Design Travel Backpack on a plane as a personal item. It’s 45L, this one is 30 so it should be fine.

**Q: since this is the 30L, and the 20L fits a 15 in laptop, will this one fit a 17in laptop?**
A: Owning a Dell XPS 17 I can tell you that model does fit, but just barely, if you max out the adjustable cradle. It's not the most comfortable for long periods of carry as the dimensions of the laptop exceed the dimensions of the padding on the back of the bag. I definitely feel it after a while, but it's tolerable for short hops.. A chunkier 17 incher might not do as well.

**Q: Is there a pen holster?**
A: There is no pocket that is built specifically for pens, but there are multiple interior pockets that are big enough to hold them.

**Q: Can it be taken on flights as personal item, in addition to a carryon bag?**
A: It's probably too big for a personal item, but as a carryon it's perfect! I've traveled around the world with mine and I love it!

This strap is really amazing. Check out the official video how to wear it properly. I can really recommend it. Using it with Fuji XT-3 with 16-55 f2.3 and 50-140 f2.8 and it is great to wear it over the shoulder and just slide it to the front.
