Updating previous 2-star review...Yes, the instructions are all in Chinese.  You can find English instructions to download.  Once over that hurdle -- the instructions are clear, the effect is marvelous, and most often, most of it works.  There is a gimmick; the gimmick is well-executed.  :-)
