If so, is the adapter for a 1.25 or 2 inch?** A: Just wanted to point out that this bike rack is best if you have a 1.25" hitch. In a 2" hitch, the adapter is in one corner of receiver and when tightened/installed, the rack was tilted a bit for me. Not a real issue I guess but a deal breaker for me as it drove me crazy seeing it tilted in the rearview. **Q: will this work with RV** A: It will certainly fit into he receiver hitch but as far as the clearance behind the RV, you will need to measure. **Q: can you add an additional lock to this? That cable lock can be cut into in a second.** A: Depending on where we are we sometimes use a second cable. It's easy to do. We mostly do this when the bikes are on the rack overnight. **Q: Does this work with cars that have a spare tire on the back?** A: Thanks for checking with Thule. You would need a hitch extender to make this work.
