Works great on yarn, but not sure at all if it would work on fabric! **Q: What's the dimension of the smallest one? Can this go through 7mm hole?** A: If you have one of the needle size checkers, it can go through the smallest hole labeled as knitting needle size 0 or 2 mm size. It is a tight fit, but it can get through. **Q: are these able to poke through Upholstery foam?** A: I have only used them for yarn. They are quite sharp. They go THROUGH the yarn for a much better ending off.
