I looked specifically for wool and found this. 50% wool is not bad. So disappointed in drop in quality of materials and construction. Old cap was 100% wool, made in Canada, with a tight weave and fit snugly on my head. New version of the cap is 50% wool/50% acrylic (knew this when purchased), made in China, but the weave is so loose that I could see the skin of my fingers if I placed them inside the cap and looked through. Also, the fit was relatively loose for a beanie cap.
