I found better mesh bags at Petsmart for .99 cents for one filter, same size 3x8. It has better quality and their mesh bags filters way better! Pieces of carbons don’t fall out between the gaps of the Petsmart filters like this one does. Other media bags have zippers and you simply do not know if the metal has a safe corrosion-resistant finish, which prevents the metal from rusting.For canister filters, you simply do not need to fill the bag the entire way and you can put multiple into the same media basket.I got an Aquaclear 110 filter off craigslist because the seller was trying to get rid of it along with his tank.
