The Iwata website states the spray pattern goes up to 4 in over this ad says only 2.5?** A: The LPH-50 comes in different models based on the fluid needle/nozzle size. The three models in order from smallest to largest spray pattern are the LPH-50 042G with a .4mm nozzle, 062G with a .6mm nozzle, and the 102G with a 1.0mm nozzle. This item is the 062G and has a spray pattern of 2.5 inches. If you want the 4 inch pattern you need the 102G. The nozzle needle sets are interchangeable/swappable with the gun, however they are expensive so buy the size you need to start with. **Q: Is the air fitting a standard 1/4” fitting?** A: Yes **Q: Will this gun work with water based lacquer?** A: Yes.
