In this case, it does not depend on the brand. Coffee beans contain essential oils, so after roasting they crack open to release the caffeine and these oils. If you want real fresh coffee you should consume it not beyond a week after roasting (which is practically impossible, unless a coffee bar has its own roaster (it happens but rarely and you can’t do it at home). No matter if it’s vacuum packed, once ground, coffee loses its freshness within a week. This being said, I keep coffee in this tin in the fridge and try to consume it within 3 weeks to a month-time.
