It uses a Bulb (G9 LED) that I’ve never used before and they are very small, but man are they bright! I bought 2 of these lights. One we put in my mother in law’s entry (but is in her living room by the door). It replaced a more traditional chandelier that hung too low. My husband installed the light and I hung the crystals. It was extremely tedious. The rings are similar to a key ring, but much smaller gauge wire. You have to hold the ring open trying to get it started on a very small opening that’s right up against the base. I 100% highly recommend purchasing small S hooks (14mm x 6mm) to use to attach the crystals. I bought mini S hooks on Amazon. The item I purchased isn’t available right now, but there are others. I put the 2nd light in my hallway. I put the hooks on the base first and then hung the crystals in the hooks. It worked perfectly and In my opinion doesn’t affect the aesthetics of the light. I would absolutely recommend this light.
