Highly recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy Speaker Stands *by J***E on October 11, 2024* After about 30 minutes of assembly time I was able to set my surround speakers up. My wife was pleased with the look of the stands so all good there. I removed the foot pads and replaced them with carpet spikes and honestly that took the most time. I measured so each spike was the same height as all the others and the stands sit well in the carpeted floor. The two tubes are screwed in place with hex screws with a screw knob in the middle of both tube to adjust the speaker height. I have them extended all the way to the max height of 42 inches -- which puts the rear surround speakers at a nice position above the back of the sofa. The speaker power wire is run through the back of the top tube and exits out the bottom. The resultant look is clean and the stands hold the speakers securely. The stands come in a powder coat finish so they look to be scratch resistant. As far a tip-resistance goes, I am sure you can knock them over with a heavy blow but otherwise the wide base makes them somewhat immune from easily tippling over. If tip-resistance is important to you then I recommend adding some lead weights in the base to give the stands more weight. I don't think that is really necessary. I tried to tip them over with increasingly stronger pushes and I was satisfied that under "normal" conditions they won't easily tip over. My only suggestion to the manufacturer is that instead of the knob to adjust height you should just supply another hex set screw which makes for a cleaner look. Once set I do not plan on changing the height. Really nice speaker stands.
