The food processor may be able to ‘blend’ some items but will not necessarily result in the same consistency that you would get with a blender; it wouldn’t be interchangeable with one, and blending isn’t considered one of its primary functions. The unit has various functions including chopping, shredding/slicing and pureeing – if you wish, you can view the Use and Care manual to determine whether it would fit all your needs.
