With the Tle Pro 2020 just being water resistant, the possibility of it taking in liquid is likely. If you were to attempt using Tile to track it, the best option would be a Tile Sticker due to its size and waterproof rating. You can make settings with a Premium that will remind you ,that you left something behind,(via cell text). Premium will also show you a map of where the last place your item was while you were last in range of it. You can then go to that area and hope your back in range of it’s Bluetooth and Find it! For $30./ year, if it helps me find just one item that got lost,(and had a Tile ), It would be worth every penny. **Q: Would i be able to leave this in my husband’s car to locate it? He’s traveling another states more than 400 miles?** A: Yes!! The tile uses Bluetooth and will continually update itself when another Bluetooth device is in the range. It’s silent to passerbys- but if anyone passes the tile (in your husbands car, for example), the tile will update its location. You can track the location from your phone. I’m pretty sure you need the premium service to really be the most useful. I’ve had tiles for over 5 years. I absolutely love mine. I got an apple airtag for Christmas.
