It's simple, minimal and looks great in a business or casual setting. I haven't had mine long, so I can't speak to how well it will wear. It seems very well constructed; the canvas is quite stiff and heavy. The leather isn't real ("PU leather"), but you'd pay a lot more for that. The shoulder straps are very comfortable and have webbing on the inside to minimize sweat. One review mentioned that the buckle isn't real, which is true--it's a magnetic clasp. I actually like this feature because you can pop the top flap open and closed without fiddling with a buckle. It's got a big main compartment with a padded pouch for laptops (more than enough for my 15 in, probably fine for a 17 in), and 2 side pockets--for me, a perfect setup. The shoulder straps are comfy and you can actually a fit quite a lot in the bag (my 13" macbook air within it's felt carrying case, cables, a rather large USB charger, notebook, water bottle, make-up bag, and wallet for instance). Good padding surrounding the laptop area. It's very cute and doesn't get bulky in any strange places. I would have shaved a bit off a star because it smelled when I first received it, but the smell has already faded after a week of use. Overall, I love that it's more feminine and fashionable than your average backpack. My only wish is that it had a pocket of some kind on the outside of the bag (preferably the back where the straps are were you could slip a wallet or phone in for easy access. "Babe" is how I refer to people or inanimate objects that I love. I live in Portland OR where it pisses rain most months of the year, and I was worried when I bought it that it wouldn't be waterproof enought. LOL. It's the most waterproof thing I've ever owned. When rain falls on it, it eats it for dinner and remains dry AF. Plus, I've never received so many compliments in my life over an object I've owned. No outfit, no pair of shoes comes close to the pure love this satchel has gotten. And almighty above, you can fit a crime in there. And by that I mean a three day weekend in Vegas. This bag has a lot more stars than the dodgy hotel I stayed at off the strip.
