The long strap length allows you to be able hang your hammock from a broad selection of tree widths and distances and the loops allow for easy adjustment if you misjudge a distance in what is already a ridiculously easy setup.Cons to this product: The "PU-Coated Polyester fabric" (whatever that is haha) is super nice and sometimes I feel a little bad using it on really rough trees. . .I bought my set at a local sporting goods store and haven't regretted it for a minute. If you have a hammock/are going to purchase a hammock and are on the fence about buying straps-- just know that they will make your hammocking experience much more functional (you'll have more options of where to put your hammock) and enjoyable because setup and take-down are so easy.
