So unless you have a RAID setup with SSDs, you cannot exceed the ethernet connection. Or, a nice NVMe m.2 drive can do 3600MB/sec easily, which will hurt the 10gbe connection. **Q: can this work as a 10gigabit connection in between 2 systems if both have one of these like from a file server to a workstation pc** A: Yes.
