But, make sure that you don't have a crinkle running through the seal when you do, because you won't get a good seal and it would allow air to seep in. **Q: Does this unit have food containers** A: No containers just bags that you cut to size **Q: Can you use in the microwave ..?** A: To a certain degree. I don't know about the health and safety issues of microwaving the plastic, although it is BPA free. I put frozen packages in the microwave to defrost, but not to reheat or cook, and I turn the package several times during the process so that hot spots are avoided. Too much heat will melt the plastic and that's definitely something I don't want. **Q: There’s the option to buy individual “(42) gallon sized bags” but no measurements listed.
