The range is about 20" - 25" **Q: What is the diameter of the seat?** A: I just measured it with a ruler. It's 15 inches across (12 + 3). **Q: what is the min and max seat height?** A: My height range is only 28-34". I don't know why mine is 2" shorter than the other respondent, but I sure could use an extra inch or two. Note there's another question where several people report max heights of only 34" or so. **Q: How do you know exactly what replacement with locks for wheels will work for these dangerous wheels?** A: I have not replaced mine but this what you can do: Remove 1 caster (it should pull or knock out) and measure the stem diameter.
