It was my favorite and used it for everything, so it is a shocker that it doesn't readily turn up when looking for it. It doesn't, and there is that constant reminder in the back of my head that I just might have left it behind. No doubt, long after this world self-destructs, some Ape will pick it off a rock, probably right where I left it.So I had to find a new camera and newer models were already being produced, but a newer GoPro meant I would need to stock up on the newer style batteries and a new set of filters since everything for the Hero 7 was now outdated. It also meant if I wanted to replace my Hero 7, that it was now only available in a bundle of items, most of which I already had five times over, and at a price over $600. Nonsense! So I waited and finally saw an ad for a new Hero 7 at the same price when it was new. No unwanted extras included, and I bought it and am now once again using my Hero 7 just like before with complete success.I don't know why some people say the Hero 7 doesn't work for them. Mine have always worked perfectly and are very reliable, and even records a better video.New buyers should probably go for the latest model because every new model receives some sort of improvement. Just don't leave it behind someplace.
