Thankfully my research pointed me to spikebite. This vest is very well made. The cloth is thick and feels durable. The embedded spikes around the neck and down the back don't feel flimsy or breakable when you press down on them. The velcro and buckles keep the vest firmly in place. There's even a hook to connect a leash to so I can walk my dog with the vest on. The owner John worked closely with us in order to get the sizing correct because the last thing I wanted was inadequate protection. God forbid that a coyote ever attacks my dog....but this vest gives me peace of mind when we he is home alone. Like i said, better safe than sorry. I recommend it. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Was hoping *by G***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2016* My 9lb min-pin refuses to walk when she's got this on. It's very awkward and uncomfortable for her. However- I realize that that is no fault of the manufacturer. It's a well made vest and after experiencing a coyote attack in which I almost lost my precious pet it was worth a try. Maybe I can somehow train her to get somewhat used to it. We could tell that our dog noticed this was different from her regular harness, but it didn't stop her from running to the door the minute we put it on, and she didn't want to come in after her walk. LOL We got it in red and it sparkles in the daylight. She looks adorable in it and is protected from some of the scariest hazards for small dogs.
