Using thermal laminate pouches would be ideal for best clarity and cost. You would need a thermal laminator which is not so expensive and quite useful for toner foil application. Acrylic spray is another cheap quick option to semi waterproof, specially ink prints on paper stickers. If you plan on outdoor use without uv protection using standard ink, expect the sticker to fade within months in sunlight. Second best would be single sided self adhesive cold laminate sheets, make sure to have a squeegee tool or laminator that allows for cold setting. Can look somewhat faded/dry layer underneath the laminate because there is no heat to assist in full contact adhesion. Deluxe pricey option would be to use clear uv protected vinyl (decal/outdoor type vinyl like oracal brand) has a good contact allowing for optical clarity without use of heat.
