However, it takes several weeks to master the moves. If your a constant Mortal Kombat player it will probably come a lot easier to you, but I have not played this game since it's earlier iterations. Probably MK 3 or 4 was the last version I played, and so much has changed. The graphics in this game are incredible. Nothing like the motion capture stuff that made the original a sensation at the time, but these graphics are beautiful. After a couple of weeks of training mode and single player, I have picked up the moves, kombos, fatalities, etc. I originally got Motral Kombat X, but when I saw Jason, Alien, Leatherface, and Predetor in the update XL, I had to have it. Can't wait to play as those characters. There is a high learning curve, but once you start to get a handle on that the game is a blast. The new Faction mode is fun, and I am now venturing out online to seek opponents, which is kind of new to me, as all I have ever played before is single player modes. Initially, I was getting my butt handed to me (probably by 12 year old kids LOL.). However, now that I am picking up the play mechanics, I have become quite competitive and pretty confident. It's a blast, and addicting as well. Find myself lost for hours picking up the moves. Best fighting game I have played in some time.
