I put these in our washing machine twice: once in warm water, and then in cold water for the second laundering before they went into the drier. No discernible fading or shrinkage: they still look nice and dark, and they still fit. For some reason, the desertcart product page for these jeans showed two different pictures of the LEE logo patch sewn onto the waistband at the right-hand rear side: In one photo, the logo patch is light in color, whereas the other photo shows the patch as being black. I am happy to report that the logo patch on the pair that I received is indeed black, which blends in and looks better, whereas a light-colored logo patch would be very conspicuous on such dark black jeans.
