I also found while switching from either inputs I had to power off the speakers which you should do anyway to protect them. Great great speakers for them money though. Lastly I would recommend the bx4's instead of the bx3's if you have the extra 50 bucks, well worth it. **Q: Considering for mastering in a bedroom. How flat is their response?** A: Hi, M-Audio support here! BX4 features a 69 Hz – 22 kHz frequency response. For mastering, we recommend using the BX8 monitors which feature a 37 Hz – 22 kHz frequency response.
