We purchased this to connect out desktop computer in our home to a power chair out side as we could not get the power chair into the home to use a shorter cable. It worked fine and we have used it several times this way. In fact we had to use 2 of these cables hooked together to reach from the computer to the chair and it worked great. **Q: i purchased the 16' but no red light comes on as one post shows? should there be a red light when it is connected???** A: Yes **Q: After hooking it up to a desktop, could I then attach a small usb hub to the end, and use it with two controllers for some convient couch gaming?** A: I imagine that would work.
