I don't need a bunch of metric brad point bits, so being able to purchase a single low-cost high-quality bit to keep with the jig was perfect for me. The bit performed well for the 60 or so holes I had to drill, most in maple and a few in MDF. The bit was straight with a sharp brad point that made it easy to precisely mark the location of the hole using the jig. Holes were clean and round, with no tear out so long as a backer board was used. The bit I received is NOT made in Austria as the listing title currently displays and is not stamped with the Fisch logo. Th packaging is branded as Fisch, being made in China based on their design and specifications. The listing should be corrected, but at my time of purchase this bit was less than $3 with Prime next day shipping. I expected as much.
