Originally I used a different brand of cake eyeliner for many years but sadly it's no longer available...I scoured the web looking for a cake eyeliner, but it's difficult to find a Dark Brown...I love this type of eyeliner because it's the only kind that doesn't transfer to the upper part of my lids like all the other types of eyeliners I've used from gels, liquid, to pencil that all promise not to transfer/smear but do...I tried this brand as soon as I got it-works great! No smearing, or fading away issues! I use this to fill-in my brows too because no matter how hot it gets in NV they stay put without smearing or fading away! Also, I really Love that this brown is a true dark brown & not a reddish brown! I have salt & pepper hair color & this shade looks great on me! I received my order early-today 5/16/20 estimated delivery was 5/20 to 5/28, so that is another plus! I ordered the refillable compact to go with the eyeliner & I was surprised that not only did I receive what I ordered, but also got 2 complimentary make-up remover towelettes & a slightly larger refill compact, I guess for eyeshadow free! I had mastered twirling a wet brush in a hard cake of dry eyeliner - getting it to the perfect consistency - and having it flow onto my eyelid effortlessly. This eyeliner seems to be identical. A brush is not included as it was years ago, but that is OK. I found a great brush on Amazon with the help of the product reviews. I recommend this product and will buy it again, although it will be awhile. I think that this product will last for years. I use a tiny brush for a very thin line.
