The adults love it just as much as the kids. Very easy to use and easy to clean up. The only problem I have had is unscrewing the inner chamber when I wash it...it seems to take a little muscle to make it catch. I would buy this machine again in a heartbeat!! No need to invest in expensive syrups, just buy unsweetened Kool-Aid mix (we like lemon the best). Boil 1 cup of water with 1 1/2 cups of sugar. When it comes to a rolling boil, remove from the heat and stir in the Kool-Aid mix. Let it cool, add to ice shavings and enjoy!! I eat snow cone ice everyday. This machine makes the fine ice like snow,,, not chipped ice. It works great for awhile but depending on how used the machine was when I got it ( I usually buy them used for cheaper) the blade seems to dull withing a couple months to six months. It still works, it just makes the ice extremely slow so you are sitting there forever.
