Review: Very comfortable, stylish, perfect fit - These are so comfortable and stylish! I originally bought them for the gym but I have been wearing them as part of my regular wardrobe. They are thin enough to wear on warm days but also warm enough if I'm in a room with blasting air conditioning. I want all the colors! I'm 5'5" 140lbs and I bought Medium and it's true to size and a perfect fit. Slightly baggy but not too much at all. I put the ankle cuff a few inches before my knee and it's perfect!

A: They run true to size so if you normally wear a small get a small

**Q: Can these be worn at the waist - I'm 5'4"?**
A: They can be worn at the waist, but they are longer than I anticipated.   They are very comfortable and come down to just above my ankles

**Q: where is this made?**
A: They are nice, just remember they are womens not juniors, I made that mistake they were just a little to big in womens size

**Q: Usually a medium and both that and the large tighter on hips than prefer. Hips 41 waist 28 would xl make a difference in hips?**
A: Your measurements are similar to mine except I'm a little larger in the waist.  I bought a L and they fit fine through the hips (and even in the waist).  You should be fine with a L.
