I have used many different traps for feral cats, opossums, and raccoons and this is the best by far. Once the trap is set on the captured animal the critter can’t get out as I have had happened with other traps. It is very easy to release the captured critter by rolling the trap over twice and the door automatically opens. You don’t have to open the trap door by hand. This does present an issue if the trap is not secured in place in the trap setting because if the captured critter rolls the trap it will open. This is easy to prevent by securing the trap when setting it.
