Despite the product saying it, CT007X is not a bluetooth scanner, it is just 2.4GHz and requires there dongle. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ everything was fine and I like the unit *by M***T on June 26, 2016* My unit apparently has a defective internal lithium ion battery because after days of attempts to charge it, the red led would not go out, and the battery would not respond to a "3 second hold trigger ON" signal. When the hard usb cable was plugged in, everything was fine and I like the unit. I was about to tear into it to test the internal battery thinking I maybe could fix it because I wanted to be able to use the usb dongle for "walking around" scans. I thought better of it and decided instead to hook up a small usb charging/remote battery pack that I had picked up at Costco for about $30. That battery pack is the size of my android phone. Voila! Both the usb pack for powering the device and the wireless dongle were compatible, so at least I can now "walk around" with the device.
