However "features & details" says water based. Which is correct?** A: Ok, I just double checked this. It is a 60% water based ink, but it is permanent and water does not remove it. We just verified with testing. **Q: How long does this last?** A: We bought it a year ago. With cap on, lasts. We just used it again ast week.
