This book is of use to all pilots, aircraft design engineers, and those who teach aerodynamics in a formal class room environment. And for a retired Naval Aviator who flew my entire 23 year US Navy career this book is a most welcome addition to my technical library.

I bought this just because I've always been interested in aviation and wanted to understand the engineering better. It's not an engineering text, no problems to solve or questions to answer. Lots of formulas to define the concepts. The thrust is to tell the aviator how it all affects his use of the aircraft.
