Used it to clean the surface of my vehicle after I performed a 2 step paint correction, which is literally Step 1- using rubbing compound, and step 2- using polishing compound with a polisher. Worked well to take away all the compound residue and oil leftover. I also use it on my windshield to keep it nice and clean. No streaks! Surface preps are literally isopropyl alcohol diluted with distilled water, aka IPA. I can smell a slight vinegar in this thing like what the other reviewer stated, but it’s not that bad. The scent is fine and tolerable. If you’re already at the surface prep stage for ceramic coating, why cheap out and make your own?
