Glechoma hederacea?** A: This is the traditional Swedish Ivy, so the leaves are larger than Creeping Charlie. I've had CC in the past, and I believe the leaves are small and dullish. The Swedish Ivy leaves have somewhat of a shine. Perhaps there are many varieties to both? Sorry I can't be of more help. **Q: Does this have a scent?** A: No but it makes the most beautiful tiny flowers you have ever seen. If you aren’t good at growing things this plant pays make. If it is happy (in the right place) you are happy. When I received the package, there were two plants in it. The lady sent along a note, saying that the plants were small, so she sent two.They didn't look very healthy when they arrived. And, the one plant did die. The other was fast following its lead. I looked at the second plant, and it seemed to be dying from the ground up. So, I pinched off the dead part and pushed the tip of the plant firmly into the ground. I also moved it so it could get more sunlight. This was at the beginning of this year. Now, I have a healthy vibrant plant! (Growing like a weed!) It seems to be happy in among the other variety houseplants that are around it.I must add, that the lady from The Garden Path, in her own kindness & respect for me as a customer, went out of her way to try to make sure that I got a plant that would survive! This is part of the love of gardening, whether it be fruits and vegetables or houseplants!This is one plant that is rare to find in any store.
