We are a sugarfree household (keto) so we have been buying sugarfree tonic, but not all stores carry the brand that doesn't have aspartame, and store-bought tends to be sweeter than we like. We use about half of the smallest recommended measure to a litre of sodastream fizzy water, and it is great. Even in gin and tonics :) Not quite like sugar sweetened tonic, but I am satisfied with the flavor.
