Massaro (President of Massaro Ballistic Laboratories, USA) and Nathan Foster (President of Terminal Ballistics Research, NZ) to be the very best in accuracy, insight, thoroughness, information not included in other publications, and readability. Both authors are experts in their fields and both have the enviable talent of making their books very enjoyable to read. If I could only keep a few reloading books it would be everything by these two authors and a Lyman's reloading manual. Google these authors as both own businesses that demonstrate where their knowledge comes from (customers with world wide hunts needing loads worked up for a huge range of game and environments) - both maintain websites with a lot of great info and both seem very approachable and helpful. To avoid confusion - both authors are independent of each other and to my knowledge have never jointly written a publication ... would be interesting if they did though (hint hint to the authors). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Book *by E***T on February 9, 2024* THIS BOOK HAS A LOT OF GREAT KNOWLEDGE. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Useful Reference Book *by O***R on August 4, 2017* The book is interesting and I thought it might contain useful information that would help my granddaughter and grandson in learning to reload. Section 1, The Feature stories kind of brought it down. One in particular, I guess, was a little irritating to me. He talks about this and that and how he got rifles, scopes and reloading equipment given to him for some testing. Telling everybody that if they're serious about reloading, they need to get this same equipment. I guess if I were given a lot of products for free, I'd say the same thing. He'd been reloading for almost a decade, which means he started around 2005 or so. I've been reloading since 1983, so his opinions don't mean much to me, but I fear a lot of newbies will be swayed by some of his spiel. So, to all new reloaders, talk to people who actually know, and are not trying to plug a freebie they got.(Maybe I should become a writer so I can get free stuff too.................oh, well, guess not)But, Section 2 actually redeemed the book. Metallic handloading, - the tools, the components and Shotshell reloading were clear, accurate and concise. This section is well worth the price of the book. Everything is explained clearly.
