**Q: How does one connect the remote to the led bulbs?**
A: not sure which model you are referring to....the set of swing arm lamps we purchased did not come with a remote.  That would imply that the lights could remain on....there is a definite on/off switch on our set.

**Q: What actual color is this lamp? Doesn't say "black", just "antique"?**
A: It is black. I think the "antique" may be more about the style than the color.

**Q: Can the it be built so it has a shorter arm?**
A: No, but you can adjust the angle to make it shorter

**Q: How do I turn this into a non dimming fixture? (Using as a plug in with a nondimming bulb)**
A: Just turn on the lights with the knob switch
