Less than 1 month later. The bridge has shifted, and only recently have I noticed the face of the wood under and around the bridge is significantly warped. Huge lesson learned. Be excited to play guitar. But control your excitement enough to wait for delivery regarding certain items. They partner with small but high quality manufacturers around the world, both here in the US, Europe and Asia. Due to the agreements they have with the manufacturers it is difficult to locate a "home page" for Gitane since they have an exclusive arrangement with Saga. You can go to sagamusic.com and read about there company and mission statement. Not only guitars but a very wide range of stringed instruments. I can tell you this from first hand experience with this guitar, it is extremely well made and the price is far below MSRP. I have been playing it extensively since I received it and each session just puts me more in love with this guitar. FedEx delivered the package with a nice dent in the cardboard package. The guitar was damaged in alignment with the package damage. The package consisted of a cheap cardboard outer shell with a few pieces of Styrofoam placed loosely around the guitar, The guitar was on a lightweight Styrofoam "cloth" and inside another plastic bag. That was it! The instrument was fine & I probably would have kept it but for the damage, I returned it.
