Review: Pleasantly Surprised - This mat is great because it stays firmly on the floor and doesn't slide when I jump/hop from side to side in POP pilates! It is also well made so when I jump back into a plank in yoga/pilates it doesn't tear like a cheaper mat that I had. Even though this mat is thinner than some others, to me, it is still soft and comfortable. One of the best things about this mat is that I'm 5"3" and when I do a "morning" stretch, lying on my back with arms & legs fully extended, I fit! No part of my body is off the mat! I was pleasantly surprised to have such a good quality mat that also looks pretty for such a great price!
Review: Good grip, no smell, easy to put away - This is just what I wanted! I wanted a durable, yet not too thick mat. I have wood floors and this mat stays in place and the texture allowed me to stretch on it with socks on and there was no slip at all. There's enough traction so that when you roll it up, it doesn't slide around. It's also not too thick to where it'll tear or cumbersome to roll up. I've used other mats that were a pain to put away; you don't want to have to deal with that after your work out. It comes with an elastic carrying strap that I really like because it's got some give to it. You don't have to roll the mat all tightly just to get it to fit back in again. I think this mat is the best quality for the cost and I'm very satisfied with it. It also didn't come in a whole bunch of unnecessary packaging. Just shrink wrapped in plastic. And, there was no chemical, plastic smell which I was expecting!

This mat is great because it stays firmly on the floor and doesn't slide when I jump/hop from side to side in POP pilates! It is also well made so when I jump back into a plank in yoga/pilates it doesn't tear like a cheaper mat that I had. Even though this mat is thinner than some others, to me, it is still soft and comfortable.
