This looked better on the video than in person. You hold the device in a few different positions and contract while you walk. After walking with it I realized it inhibits the natural walking movement of the arms and would be better used in a stationary position. Even then it's very limiting for doing isometrics and a much better choice is John Peterson's Isometric Power Revolution book where he demontrates hundreds of isometric exercises with no equipment.
