It works flawlessly, and is both intuitive and simple to operate. Battery life is excellent - it’s been installed for over a year and hasn’t needed a new battery. This is because the battery just activates your ability to unlock it instead of moving the deadbolt as some other electronic locks do. I am happy that it is not internet connected - feels more secure to me. Between the function and solid build, I think this is one of the best options available for a simple keyless deadbolt. One last thing - there are battery terminals on the outside that allow you to power it up using a 9v battery if the internal battery dies - this prevents you from getting locked out unintentionally. I haven’t had to use this feature, but it provides great peace of mind.
