They don't hold bigger pieces of candy but so far I have fit the little Skittles/M&M bags, 2 piece Starburst, and crabby patty candies (1 candy per egg), which is very reasonable for their size. Colors were pink, green, blue, yellow, orange and purple. I saw a review before I bought which stated that the egg halves weren't connected, but I didn't care so I bought anyway. But when I received mine, they were connected, so you can fill with ease. Not sure what that other lady was talking about. I would recommend these eggs.

These were great for the price. They snap and secure well. About 5-8 of the eggs couldn't close properly with or without candy in it and the hinge broke pretty easy of a few more of them but as long is it closed and worked as it was supposed too I dont mind
