Review: Works great, seems accurate, no problems - I purchased this specifically to test a PoE switch but figured I'd be using it in the future with other PoE devices I have, or just as a cable tester in case mine fails. This arrived in perfect condition and didn't have any issues powering right up once batteries were installed. The cable continuity tester worked fine (with a good cable) and the PoE testing seemed to do the job as well - telling me the switch in question is "non-standard" (which is plenty believable) but accurately identifying the af type of a difference device, as well as power consumption through to an access point. Overall happy with this tester, especially for the cost. Hoping it lasts for a while.

There is nothing I dislike about this product so far, but what I do like is the ease of use and the different types of testing in this one product. When working on traffic signal devices, they can be a bit delicate to surges and lightning, having the proper wiring will make all the difference between your equipment being saved or destroyed. The test that I performed was a continuity test with CAT6 shielded direct burial cable, the drain wire/ground must not be connected on the equipment side but must be connected on the supply side, as you can see in the picture it will show that my connection is correct and with one side to ground. Love this tester and I love the price, I would recommend this product.
