**Q: Do I need to soak this in water before adding to the tub?**
A: no, I didn't add water to mine; except to keep it most during growth

**Q: will this work with syringe type inoculation?**
A: No. This is the substrate you use when you're ready for the fruiting stage. There is no injection port on these bags.

**Q: Are these any good for psylocibe cubensis?**
A: Yes, this product is good for that.

**Q: If it cannot be used for an injectable mix, how is this to be used? i purchased it because it appeared to have an injection port. so, how is this used**
A: There is no injection port. There is just a filter patch for proper air flow to keep it hydrated until use. This product is used during the fruiting stage when using the monotub method.

So, Ive never seen this before. What the heck are these metallic flakes, up to a 1/2" in diameter? Clumping up against the jar walls.not impressed, to late to return/refund
