Beautiful art work, catchy rhymes, captivating story. Not one of today's juniorized tales--a good, stylized fairy tale. It tells the story of the little boy Jordan who needs to exchange his muddy spud in the market for some food. Instead Jordan embarks on a long journey seeking magical items for strangers he meets along the way. Four years and up, I would think.

Cute and adorable story, love the art, though might be a bit complex for a child.Also don't under stand how "rubies" and "babies" rhyme at all.A little dark for a child's book but I enjoyed it
