I like the key layout but am not a fan of wireless only mice.** A: The G604 mouse has been discontinued by Logitech, it's replacement yet to be disclosed. I like the G502 X gaming mouse (wired, not battery powered) but it does not have as many buttons as the G604. The wireless only G604 is still available at some sites. **Q: 2 Qs: 1- Does the scroll wheel also have left and right clicks on it like the 502? 2- Would the bluetooth work through a wall?** A: no it does not **Q: how does this stack up to the G602?** A: Personally I prefer the G602. The G604 is plastic body and frame. There is no heft to the mouse. The G602 at least had some weight to it and probably has some metal framing. Also, I dropped my first G604 and is broke the programmable buttons. I've dropped my G602 bought when they first became available and still works great. That is even after multiple drops from about 3ft onto a wood floor. I've ended up buying 3 G602s from overseas suppliers from their remaining stock as back up. Also, the G604 is a pain to program vs the G602! **Q: Can the buttons be programmed for Photoshop?** A: You can program the buttons with keystroke combinations...basically as macros. The steps to do requires some digging for the answer. It took me several minutes to find the correct steps and to save it to the mouse memory so you won't need to have the desktop program running. Only reason I've gone through so many over the years is because I play wow a lot and wear out the left click button. I'm sure it's an easy enough fix but I honestly can't be bothered so I just buy a new one. Been using this since the g602. The battery life on Bluetooth lasts me for MONTHS. I'll be sad when I can't get this mouse anymore.
