This hooked up pretty easily and controls the lights. For simple controls, I think this is a good buy... but to my knowledge it seems sort of limited with some things I would have liked (example: you can change intensity of colors, but you can't actually fade the lights in and out from nothing to a color). But again, if you want a way simply control the colors, I think this is a good buy. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars WARNING: 3 channel mode lamps ONLY *by B***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 2, 2021* Update, changed rating from 2 to 3 stars, I finally got some 3 channel mode lights. And it works well, make basic light control easy. But as I will point out finding 3 channel mode lights is hard. About half the wash bar lights will do it (shows in listing 3 channel mode) But in par lights very hard to find because most lights do not list it.I got mine used from Amazon Warehouse and probably there because there is not bold print in this listing to warn people about this MAJOR issue. When it is there I give another star.To get a BIG 5 STAR would be to make it have a way to work with standard DMX light set up where channel one is fader. Then this would make this a great basic DMX controllerWARNING, be sure you DMX lights can do 3 channel mode, otherwise it will not work properly.This looked great at first, but when I tried with several lights, they were erratic. Then when compared to standard DMX512 controller, I see why. Channel 1 on most lights is MASTER fader. Channel 2,3 ,4 are red green blue. This device transmit red, green blue on channels 1, 2,3. So red is master, green is red, and blue is green when used with any standard par led DMX light . Do not understand why they could not just shift info so as to work with other lights which about 99% are 6-7 channel. This device was a great idea considering how hard to set up a standard controller.
