I use from 80 to 400 grades with excellent results. Take care when loading the discs that the holes line up and the disc is central. My main use is pine tabletops, chairs, and desks. It has to work hard and I'm a satisfied customer... **Q: Whether the sand disc is easy to disassemble and assemble** A: Very easy to assemble, the disc just fits onto the machine by placing it on the surface. You can get dare discs on Amazon. **Q: Is this sander a orbital sander or straight?** A: It is an orbital sander **Q: What is the material of the handle?** A: The body and handle are hard green plastic. Palm grip and handle are overlaid with soft black rubber for better grip. Unlike the air powered models in our workshop, it does not have a metal trigger plate. Using a small rocker switch instead, far less ergonomic and convenient. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use - great value. *by S***M on 3 August 2026* Having just bought this I'm really impressed with the Hychika FL117 random orbital sander. Looked at a range of different ones and went for this as they reviews looked good and it was a decent price. The sander is sturdy and came will a range of different grades of sandpaper disks which was helpful admin could get straight away. The sander made me small but it definitely packed a punch. What was taking me forever to do by hand this sander was completing with ease. The dust trap is effective. If like me you are sanding plastered walls you will still get a lot of dust, however the trap collects a fair amount. At one point I forget to put it on and couldn’t see the end of the room for dust The adjustable speed is good, however I couldn’t see a huge amount of difference between each setting out from the lowest to the highest you could. I’ve also used it to sand down an old wood seat I have outside. Again this made light work of removing the old paint. I was also given a polishing pad which I have attached and used to polish up my table which has worked a treat. My only criticisms is the ON/OFF switch. One I had used previously had this located in the handle whereas this one is on the front meaning you can only hold the sander in one hand as you switch it on. If you were to drop it the sander would also keep running whereas a switch in the handle would cut out the second pressure is reduced. Over all a great buy. ## Frequently Bought Together - HYCHIKA Orbital Sander, 300W 13000RPM Random Orbital Sander, 6 Variable Speeds, 125mm 12Pcs Sandpapers, Electric Sander with Dust Collection Ideal for Sanding, Polishing Wood, DIY, Home Improvements - SATC 125mm Sanding Discs 72Pcs Orbital Sander Discs Hook and Loop 125mm Sanding Pads for Random Orbital Sander, 40 60 80 120 180 240 320 Grits Sanding Discs - STEBRUAM 105PCS 125mm Sanding Discs, 5 Inch 8 Hole Hook and Loop Sanding Pads for Random Orbital Sander(40/60/100/150/240/320/600 Mixed Grits) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pl/products/229325515-hychika-300w-random-orbital-sander-6-variable-speeds-and-dust](https://www.desertcart.pl/products/229325515-hychika-300w-random-orbital-sander-6-variable-speeds-and-dust) --- *Product available on Desertcart Poland* *Store origin: PL* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
