It may not be quite so tough or durable as some premium branded and ridiculously highly priced alternative ones. That said I cannot tell the difference here. Its solid, weighty, tightly put together, feels like it will take a beating and has already been lugged around and abused a bit. Everything inside has not budged or taken damage. The case itself still looks brand new despite being heavily used already. Haven't tested water ingress as the most it will ever endure (hopefully, unless somehow it falls off a bridge or boat which is unlikely given my use requirements) is some rain showers when being moved in or out of a vehicle.
