They go above and beyond the mark in every metric but two... which i will state in my cons column.Positive:Extremely lightweight: I forget I'm wearing it.Amazing design: Very comfortable, the pendant controls are easily navigated blind. And can be concealed(and controled) under clothes. The magnet had just enough strength to snap together behind the neck but easy to remove and safe for sleeping. The earbuds are low profile and stick out at an angle with round edges.Minimalist: there is no wasted space in the thing. The pendent is light and tiny, the battery is in a separate module in the magnet. The usb charging port is the tiniest I've seen, built into the other side of the magnetic clasp and is completely concealed while closed. Brilliant engineering.Sound quality: much better then expected, very similar to my skull candy's. These go completely silent during dead air. *Many bluetooth earbuds in this price range emit a constant hiss while connected or running sound. Which made me return them. I use these to listen to audiobooks and those were unexceptable* These are great on that.Sharing: these are the best shareable buds around. Because of the unique and ingenious design, they can "unfold" or transform in one giant cord (almost 4 feet!) with an earbud at each end. You could easily listen to the romantic musical stylings of Weird Al Yankovic together while sitting across from your best gal at the local soda shop. They're long enough to share a movie with your friend on an airplane with enough slack to strangle the jerk that bought a middle seat inbetween you and wouldn't scoot over. The possibilities are endless!Cons:Battery life: This is why they didn't get 5 stars. They barely last 2 hours, if that. I need a pair to last at least 3 times that for my use. However, I did sort of know that coming in, but comparing them to other headsets in the price range that's like half! I'm sure they could have fit just a little bit bigger battery in there. I've been fantasizing about taking them apart and soldering a second battery on. But they are glued or fitted perfectly together and i don't want to destroy them. Right now they are second fiddle to my lgs that get 8 hours. I use these while those charge.Controls: there are 3 buttons. A power button that acts as play/pause/redial and volume up/down that double as rewind/fast forward. *There is no command button to voice dial or tell your phone to do something.* That's a pretty big flaw for my use as well but not enough to knock another star off.No "plugged in play": They don't work while charging. I've gotten them to play for a few seconds but then they shut off. This is a flaw I've seen on far too many bluetooth earphones. Granted some would be difficult to wear while plugged in but these would completely fine. That means with their bad battery life you would need back up buds.The AI is a prick: Like many other bluetooth headphones, these give an early warning when they are about to die. However, it waits until literally the last minute and instead of just shutting off with a small tone, the computer inside goes and makes this cheerful diddy like it's smiling at you while giving you the finger. And it's no coincidence that the lyrics "F*** you!" Fit so perfectly in the jingle. It is the worst send off it could possibly do, basically like farting in a small room full of onlookers and leaving while backing up with a psychotic grin and then locking the door from the outside.All in all, these are fantastic in the most important areas and there is nothing on the market (at least under $30) that can compare with quality and design.
